WHAT IS WebBook™?

Your WebSource, LLC is the parent company to local/regional companies called WebBook™ which produce a coordinated web and print directory for website addresses; offer website design & hosting services; and offer logo & corporate image design services.

WebBook™ is focused on providing regional areas with an easy-to-use listing of websites organized alphabetically by category and by business or organization name, thus allowing the “consumer” to avoid the frustrations of online search engines which are not geographically specific. Each directory (both web and print versions) will contain web addresses for businesses and organizations in a very specific service area. Service areas will vary in geographic definition. Some will cover several counties or even a quadrant of a state in less populated areas. Others will cover only one metropolitan area.

The web versions will be aggressively promoted and, as more service areas come onboard, the individual area sites will be networked.

The print version will be distributed throughout that directory's service area through frequently visited locales such as restaurants, lodging facilities, and chambers of commerce. The target market is both local residents as a community resource, and area visitors to take home with them as a resource for planning their next visit.

Inclusion in the directories is FREE of charge. If a business or organization has a website, WebBook™ wants it in the directory! The more there are, the better the directories will be as an information resource. As mentioned above, the listings will be organized alphabetically by category, e.g. Accountants, Artists, Attorneys; and alphabetically by the name of the business or organization. FREE listings are in only one category and include the name of the business or organization, the web address, and the location(s).

Many businesses and organizations offer multiple products and/or services. For a small charge, a business or organization can be listed in more than one category.

WebBook™ understands that there are still many businesses and organizations that either have not yet realized the value and importance of having a web presence, or simply haven't gotten around to it yet. WebBook™ wants to make having a website an easy, affordable, and tremendously effective advertising option for all Northwest Michigan businesses and organizations. We offer several web design and hosting packages from which to choose; and should you also need to develop a logo and other print material, WebBook™ offers print design services.

OUR FUTURE

Your WebSource, LLC and WebBookUSA are in the process of planning a national roll-out of our concept. We have designed all aspects of the business to be portable and scalable.

There has already been a great deal of interest shown by entrepreneurs in other parts of the country. We are at various stages of early development with a number of these people. As the new areas "come on board," the online directories will be networked, but the print directories and the individual online directories are, and will remain local or regional (depending on population density). Our primary objective, and the driving force behind the concept, is to FOCUS attention on a specific city or region, thus making it easy for area businesses to attract more customers and customers to be able to find the products and services they need!

Again, we will NOT evolve into "just another one of those national sites." We will ALWAYS concentrate on the businesses and organizations in one particular area, because so many of them simply can not afford to compete with "the big guys" who pay THOUSANDS of dollars for sponsored links on search engines and MILLIONS on national TV and print advertising. The area sites WILL be networked, but only so that a person can easily CHOOSE to switch to another area for searching.
